The depraved assassination of Charlie Kirk is a turning point in our nation for several reasons. However, there is one turning point in this story that I have not heard others say...yet. But before I go into my main point for this blog post, I want to express my very real sadness for the earthly loss of Charlie.

In my last blog post, I wrote to you regarding the Biblical story of Lazarus and how Jesus, despite the pleadings from Martha and Mary, waited two days more to come to the place where Lazarus was located. The Biblical account of Lazarus provides a number of truths which can be applied to our own lives today. Recently, as I was reading this section of John, a couple of those truths really hit home and convicted me of some things in my own life. One of those truths I will write about in this post.
