It is simple human nature to try to get out of trouble, by hook or by crook. For those activities wherein we commit a wrong, we don't like being found guilty of it. Men gladly hire defense attorneys to come up with some reasonable "excuse" for why they broke the law. They often try to blame it on some outside "influence" that was beyond their control, and these attorneys make a lot of money in the process.

Guilt. Shame. Unworthiness. Brokenness. Lacking. Insufficient. Fallen. Defeated. These are the descriptors that Satan continuously hurls at the born-again believers in Christ Jesus. He does it relentlessly, seeking to condemn all those who believe. We have an enemy who the Bible says is the accuser of the brethren.

The depraved assassination of Charlie Kirk is a turning point in our nation for several reasons. However, there is one turning point in this story that I have not heard others say...yet. But before I go into my main point for this blog post, I want to express my very real sadness for the earthly loss of Charlie.
